Hustings at Tamworth Business Breakfast Club

On Friday 13th March Tamworth Business Breakfast Club hosted a pre-election Hustings event at The Castle Hotel.

Prospective Parliamentary Candidates were quizzed by over 30 members of the local business community on a variety of issues affecting local business.

Christopher Pincher MP represented the Conservatives, Phil Bennion the Lib Dems, Nicola Holmes the Green Party, and Jan Higgins UKIP, and no representative of Labour was available to attend.

Sue Hatton of Pickerings Solicitors was question master for the day and members listened with interest as the candidates addressed such thorny topics as HS2.

TBBC meets on the fourth Thurday of each month at The Castle Hotel from 7.30-9.00am and new members are welcome.
