Mont Blanc climb to raise funds for hospitals

Tom Stokes of Abbots Bromley has braved extreme cold and the risk of altitude sickness to tackle Mont Blanc in the Alps to raise money for the maternity units at Queens Hospital in Burton and Samuel Johnson Community Hospital in Lichfield where his four children were born. His efforts paid off as he smashed his original £2,500 target and is now hoping to reach £4000 with promises of donations.

Pickerings were proud to support Tom in his endeavour and delighted to see the Pickerings name displayed on the peak.
