Rebecca joined Pickerings in September 2011 as part of the expansion of our Wills and Probate Team. Local to the area, she has previously practised at a Lichfield firm for a number of years.
Since qualification as a Solicitor in 2004, Rebecca has specialised solely in wills, trusts and probate work. She is able to advise on all aspects of estate planning, including the preparation of wills, planning for nursing home care fees as well as capacity issues such as the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection.
She also deals with the administration of estates, whether straightforward or more complex involving business interests.
Rebecca is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner, holding the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma; a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and the Private Client Section of the Law Society. She is a MENCAP recommended solicitor who advises parents/carers of those with learning disabilities.
During her leisure time, Rebecca is Chair of Staffordshire Walkers, a local Ramblers Association walking group and an active participant and committee member of Lichfield Running Club.
