Qualified as a solicitor in 1982.
Simon handles a wide range of employment matters, including contentious and non-contentious issues. He regularly undertakes Employment Tribunal work on behalf of companies and individuals and has taken cases to the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
His expertise is wide ranging and encompasses all aspects of the employment process, including discrimination, grievance, disciplinary and redundancy. In conjunction with our Commercial team he also advises on TUPE with regard to commercial transactions.
Simon’s non-contentious work has included advising businesses on the creation and implementation of contracts, policies and procedures.
In addition to the above, Simon handles a range of commercial litigation issues. A highly skilled advocate, he has experience across a wide range of litigious matters having acted for many companies involved in commercial/contractual disputes. He has successfully used mediation to achieve settlement for clients wishing to avoid recourse to the courts.
