Chasetown FC v Northwich Victoria

On 3rd On 3rd April 2012, Pickerings Solicitors were match sponsors for Chasetown FC when they took on Northwich Victoria in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

Sadly, despite working hard throughout the 90 minutes, Chasetown slipped to a 1-0 defeat to high-flying Northwich Victoria

Chasetown player John Branch is pictured presenting a shirt to Simon King of Pickerings Solicitors. John is currently unable to play having suffered a broken knee cap whilst playing for Chasetown last September. His recovery has suffered a set back because he now has to undergo further surgery on knee ligaments, hopefully next week.

One amusing talking point during the game came when a Birch shot rattled off the front of the Crown Cutting Services stand and landed in a rubbish bin – something many fans speculated the striker could not repeat if he tried!

Chasetown now travel to Chorley on Saturday (3pm) before taking on local rivals Hednesford Town on Easter Monday (3pm).
