Sue Hatton becomes business owner at Pickerings

Sue Hatton, Business Manager and HR Consultant at  Pickerings Solicitor became a Member of the as of 1st January 2014.

The Tamworth based firm converted to an ABS (Alternative Business Structure)  from January to allow a non-solicitor manager to invest in the business.

The five owners of Pickerings Solicitors are now Sue Albini, Craig Davies, Simon King, Graham Pegg and Sue Hatton.

Sue has been based at the firm since 2002, when she joined to provide HR Consultancy for clients.

Graham Pegg, the children law specialist who has been at Pickerings throughout his career (more than 40 years!) will be retiring as a business owner at the end of March, but will continue to take on legal work with Pickerings as a consultant.

Prize winners at Tamworth Athletics Club

On Thursday 9th January Sue Hatton visited Tamworth Athletics Club to present the prizes to the 'Athletes of the Month'.

Each month Pickerings Solicitors sponsor this award,which is given to the athlete who has shown the highest levels of commitment or achievement.

Tamworth Athletics Club is one of the Midlands most thriving and successful clubs and competes in many different leagues throughout the country. It was the first Athletics Club in Staffordshire and the 24th in England to achieve the much-coveted Sport England Athletics Clubmark status.
