Connect Celebrates 5th Birthday

Congratulations to the Connect Networking Group! Last Friday members celebrated the 5th Birthday of this independent business networking group for women which meets once per month at the West Midlands Water Ski Centre, Tamworth, Staffordshire.

Connect's mission is to help members and visitors enhance and grow their business through hosting friendly, relaxed professional meetings. The group aims to offer support and advice as well as the opportunity to refer business to one another. Unlike many other networking groups, the meetings are held at a more convenient time for many women: 9.45am - 12.00pm on a Friday and include a very nice lunch!

There are regular visiting speakers as well as presentations from members about their businesses so attendees always go away having learned something new. Pickerings Solicitors' litigator Katie Maxwell-Stewart has been a member for several years and enjoys the regular opportunity to mix and share expertise and ideas with other local businesswomen.
