From 1st June 2022, Lucy Cooling has become a director of Pickerings Solicitors (Tamworth) Limited.
A Tamworth native, Lucy joined Pickerings in 2015. from Mills & Reeve, having begun her legal training as a private client lawyer in Birmingham at SGH Martineau. Lucy has practised in private client wills, trust and probate work throughout her career. She won Birmingham Law Society's 'Legal Executive of the Year' award in 2007 and went on to qualify as a solicitor.
She is a member of STEP, (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), the leading worldwide association for practitioners dealing with family and succession planning and of SFE, (Solicitors for the Elderly), an organisation for lawyers who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.
At Pickerings, Lucy advises on the full range of private client matters and has particular expertise in the area of trust, tax and estate planning. She advises in relation to the preservation of wealth for future generations through Will and Trust arrangements and forms long-lasting relationships with clients.
