LEGAL SECRETARY – COMMERCIAL PROPERTY

We currently have a vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join our Commercial Property team.

Reporting to the Head of Department, the job holder will assist the fee earners in delivering a high-quality legal service to our clients.  Responsibilities include client liaison, organising meetings, audio and copy typing, file opening, filing and the completion of legal forms.       

Applicants must be client-focused with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.  They will have good IT skills, excellent attention to detail and be flexible in their approach.  Above all, they will be enthusiastic and willing to learn.    

Previous experience of working in a legal firm is essential.  Previous experience of working in Conveyancing is preferred.

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR

 4-5 years PQE 

We are expanding our highly successful and experienced Commercial Property Team and have a vacancy for a Solicitor 3-4 years PQE
Must have experience on a range of commercial property matters. Role will include advising on commercial leases for landlords and tenants and acting in the sale and purchase of commercial property with and without finance.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - ACCOUNTS TEAM

FULL TIME

This is a newly created role within our accounts team. Duties will include a range of administrative support tasks within our accounts team in accordance with office procedures, SRA Accounts Rules and accepted accounting practices. (Training to be provided)

The successful candidate will have a high level of numeracy and accuracy and be methodical with good organisational skills.

Must be able to work at speed and to multi-task whilst maintaining accuracy. Keyboard and IT skills essential and MS Excel skills highly desirable. Must be flexible to take on a wide range of tasks within the office to support the accounts function. Duties include a range of accounts tasks including taking payments from clients.

Previous accounts/legal accounts experience would be useful, but not essential since we are prepared to provide training to the right, motivated candidate.

A DBS check will be carried out on successful candidate prior to commencement.

FLOAT SECRETARY

We are currently looking for a Float Secretary to join our team which prides itself on the quality of its service.   
The job holder will provide secretarial and administrative support to various teams, as and when needed, and will assist fee earners in delivering a high-quality legal service to our clients.  Responsibilities include client liaison, organising meetings, audio and copy typing, file opening, filing and the completion of legal forms.  This is a great opportunity for someone who likes variety and wants to expand their skill set.            
To be considered for this role you must have previous legal secretarial experience within different teams.  Experience of working with case management systems would be an advantage.  You must be client-focused with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.  You will have good audio typing and IT skills, together with excellent attention to detail. You must be organised, able to prioritise and must display a helpful and flexible approach.
