Dragon's Den at Rawlett School

On Friday 12th July, Sue Hatton of Pickerings had the honour of being one of the four Dragons drawn from local businesses to judge the finalists of the Year 8 Dragon's Den event at the Rawlett School, Tamworth.

Teams put together their presentations for their business ideas and were quizzed by the panel of Dragons and a the winning teams were selected.

The team of Dragons led by Chief Dragon Martin Hall of Lockyers Insurance included Steve Butler of Haines Watts and Chris Brewerton from the Chamber of Commerce.

The panel was impressed by the hard work and creativity shown by the pupils, who also responded well to being questioned.
