Pickerings Solicitors have recently been engaged in fundraising events for St Giles Hospice which raised a grand total of £2,810. The Wills and Probate team at Pickerings participated in the St Giles Hospice Make a Will Fortnight which involved drafting Wills for clients who then made a payment to the hospice rather than to Pickerings. This activity raised £1500.
Then, on 15th November, Pickerings Solicitors held their annual charity fundraising quiz at Drayton Manor Hotel in Tamworth. Over 100 people took part in the quiz event which raised £1,310 in one evening alone.  This was the 11th consecutive year that Pickerings have organised the event with Christopher Wardle as Quizmaster. Sue Hatton, Director at Pickerings said: ‘It is great to be able to help St Giles in this way. We have seen the positive impact that support from St Giles can have in the most difficult of circumstances. We would like to thank our team, our clients and all those who supported the Quiz and we will be holding it again next year on 14th November!’
