Left to right Rev Liz Chamberlain Vicar of Stonnall and Shenstone, Sue Albini of Pickerings Solicitors, Stuart Jones Trustee of the Friends of Shenstone Tower, Bishop Michael Ipgrave, Bishop of the  Diocese of Lichfield, and Jeremy Cotton, also a trustee.

Sue Albini, one of the Pickerings' Directors has assisted Friends of Shenstone Tower (the Charitable Incorporated Organization set up to raise funds and carry out the renovation) by providing pro-bono advice on the lease of the tower from the Diocese.

This Grade 2* listed building, known as St. John’s Old Church Tower, was in danger of being lost when a group of villagers gathered together, in 2019, with a wish to save it for the community.

The renovation of the mediaeval church tower is now complete and  the official opening event was held on Saturday 8 October 2022.
