Tamworth Youth Team Success

Massive congratulations to Tamworth Fc’s under 12 team who won the Birmingham Lord Mayors Cup 2025 - having played 8 matches in the sweltering heat yesterday!

The Birmingham Lord Mayors Cup is in its 12th year, with over 160 teams competing over various age ranges. Our Tamworth under-12’s team played 8 matches over the course of the afternoon on a blazing hot Sunday. The final went to penalties, which Tamworth subsequently won. The team kept a clean sheet for the entire tournament, with goalkeeper Harry Cooling even keeping a clean sheet during the final penalty shootout.

Pickerings have been a proud sponsor of this exciting youth team for several years and we wish the boys best of luck ahead what will hopefully be another extremely positive season!
