Chuma qualified as a Solicitor in June 2025 and will now specialise in employment law matters. Having accumulated more than 10 years’ legal experience since beginning her career in 2014, Chuma has developed a broad and varied background across employment, litigation, fraud, commercial property, court of protection, and business matters, enabling her to provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients.
Chuma is known for a client-focused and personable approach, combining clear communication with a strong attention to detail. She has experience acting for both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, building trusted relationships through proactive advice and effective case management.
Prior to qualification, Chuma completed her training contract at a well respected law firm, gaining experience in Court of Protection, Business and Litigation, Commercial Property and Employment. During their time in the Employment Department, the team was recognised as a Legal 500 Firm to Watch, providing Chuma with exposure to a variety of complex and high-value employment matters.
Chuma regularly advises on disciplinary and grievance issues, discrimination claims, unfair dismissal, flexible working requests, employment contracts, workplace policies and HR matters.
