Jane joined Pickerings in 2021 with a wealth of family law experience, spanning some 33 years.
Jane has specialised in Family Law across the West Midlands throughout her career and covers a wide range of family law matters including divorce, finance, private law children and domestic abuse cases.
Jane's considerable expertise, skills and knowledge in this field coupled with her sensitive and non-judgemental approach, allows her to build relationships and support clients through what can be highly emotional family matters.
Always striving for a fair and best possible outcome for her clients, Jane recognises that each client’s situation is different, and she will try to reach an amicable settlement through negotiation if appropriate, otherwise where necessary, and to avoid court proceedings, a referral to mediation. If this is unsuccessful Jane will assist and guide her clients through the court process.
Jane advises on a wide range of complex matters including;
