Sophia Holgate

Solicitor Apprentice - Litigation

Sophia initially joined Pickerings Solicitors in June 2021 upon completion of her A Levels. In September 2022, she was welcomed to the firm as Pickerings’ first ever Solicitor Apprentice. 

Sophia has already gained a wealth of knowledge in her role, working closely alongside highly experienced Solicitors whilst pursuing her legal studies through the University of Law, with a view to qualifying as a solicitor in 2028. 

Sophia initially specialised in the Private Client sector, confidently advising clients in a straightforward and professional manner. As of March 2026, Sophia will be specialising in Litigation, building on what she has learnt so far in a new area of practice.

Sophia takes great pride in assisting clients throughout their matters and is often a first port of call for client queries. She is committed to ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service possible and has built up an excellent rapport through her friendly and compassionate approach towards their matters.
