Head of Commercial Property – Tamworth

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Commercial Property to lead our established team and drive the continued growth of our Commercial Property department.
About the Role
You will oversee the delivery of a high‑quality, timely service to our clients while managing, motivating, and developing the Commercial Property team. As part of the firm’s management group, you will contribute to wider strategic planning, business development initiatives, and departmental performance.
Your responsibilities will include team leadership, supervision, work allocation, quality control, fee‑earning, strategic planning, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and introducers. You will also play a key role in shaping the department’s 12‑month, 3‑year, and 5‑year business plans.
About You
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 8+ years’ PQE in Commercial Property and a strong track record across a broad range of matters, ideally including development, site set‑up, landlord and tenant, and general commercial transactions.
You will bring:
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of Commercial Property law
- Strong business development and marketing skills
- Excellent communication, drafting, research, and negotiation abilities
- Proven leadership qualities and a collaborative approach
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Experience with AML and onboarding compliance
- Confidence in presenting at seminars and engaging with clients
